Project 1763 is a house located in a typical metropolitan setting.

The main door here has used a waffle like design with spaces punched into the front face of the shutter. The central wider column of ” waffles ” showcases intricate floral carving with its design roots originating from stone carvings found in the South Indian temples around Hampi. With 2 windows on either side of the single wide teak wood shutter, the entrance pops out of the stone clad walls around.

A visually bold & striking staircase stands near the living room. The play of Brown, black and white observed with the Wooden railings, stone clad step and walls increases the vibrancy of the space. Balusters designed along the columns found in the above mentioned temples characterise the theme followed in the whole house.

The TV units showcase a play of rectilinear spaces and voids on the vertical surface. Architrave boxes run along the inverted U shaped entrance way to the family living room.

Wooden doors to bedrooms, storage spaces around the public areas and wooden furniture adds grandeur and luxor to these home.
