A Modern Villa

  • Project Value
    ₹ 15-25L
  • Completion timeline
    30 days
  • Challenges for the projects
Designing a modern minimalistic Pooja unit with ornamentation to not steer away from the white-wall modernistic house designed by the architect.
  • Unique from others
Minimal use of ornamentations including carvings and traditional artwork is realised through the brass used in the design.
  • Type
    Pooja Unit, Main Door

W & M had the opportunity to get out of our comfort zone with this project and come out with a truly unique end product. Most of the Pooja Units we design are along the lines of typical traditional temple-architecture elements.  Here we have designed and were able to materialise a Pooja Unit that fits perfectly in the room without breaking the character.

The relationship shared between the 2 materials teak wood and brass has been explored. Glass and White walls in the Pooja unit is observed to keep with the Modern theme going on in the house. A true delight to the eye!

Main Door

The Main Door has been designed to blend with the semi-solar mural on the wall perpendicular to the main door. The Brass elements used on the shutter are floral in pattern assisting the above design goal.
